Spring Trials Has Just Begun! (?)
2014 Event Now "Over", the "Real Work" Begins. What About 2015+?
(4/11/14) -- Spring Trials 2014 is now "over". Starting in the North (San Juan Bautista, Gilroy) moving to Watsonville, then on to Santa Cruz, Moss Landing and Salinas took two full days. Could have used three. Stretching San Luis Obispo to Lompoc, Buellton and Ventura (Botanical Gardens) is quite achievable, but perhaps ambitious. Seeing Fides, Ball and all the vendors @ GroLink is also quite doable, perhaps even adding the VBG to this day, instead of ending the day after coming from Lompoc area.
What are the dates for 2015 and beyond? Should we reduce the days to 5 or even 4? Should we still utilize the full weekend or hold the event during "work" weekdays? These questions are now all in play, as the Southern locations' elimination eases the travel and time burden to see all of the current 50+ participating companies. Many visitors don't go to all of the locations, either, so easing the burden on exhibitors makes sense.
