Hot Crops for the Warm Season

(5/28/12) -- Going into the hot summer months will require a different culture regime for heat-loving annuals in order to keep them flowering and vigorous. Due to the amount of water needed to keep plants thriving, supplemental fertilizer will also be required. Plants need fertilizer not only to maintain tone but also to help them stay in color during periods of high stress.
Here are a few crops from the Syngenta Heat Lovers® line that will perform well under summer conditions:
