It was a great pleasure meeting you during the California Spring Trials at our new show location in Oxnard. We enjoyed the many inspiring conversations and we were impressed by the number of visitors to our presentation and the great interest in our product lines.

To give you just a quick overview of what was on show, we would like to highlight the most significant items of our display.

While entering the show garden you could not have missed the Garvinea® Power Flower presentation. The extreme Sunday rain didn't bother this robust garden plant at all! Its sturdiness and rich flowering causes a unique long period to enjoy Garvinea®: from early spring until the first frost many new buds are formed. At first the bulky flower buds hang down, but when they are on the verge of opening, they raise their heads as their colourful petals unfold. We introduced 7 new colours, featuring the remarkable Sleeping Beauty® (with the cute sleeping heads) and the vivid cherry-red Sophie®. We also showed you the first large flowered Garvinea® and a preview on our new Spider range of Garvineas.  

From the outdoors to the semi outdoor area you walked in on our Patio Gerberas, the ultimate Summertime Extravaganza! Led by our extreme large-flowered showstopper Everglades(r) and 3 new colours Olympic® (Red), Great Smoky Mountains® (Orange) and Zion® (Cream), the series consists of 18 colourblocking varieties, suited for large containers on Patios and Verandas. A great extra feature: the large flowers can be picked and used to enjoy as a cut flower as well!  

To inspire you on how to use the crowd-pleasing Gerberas all year long, we presented Flori Line® pot plants in colourful themed mixes to cover all main sales seasons. "Jack Frost Mix" offers an ice touch in wintertime with a joyful mix of Eyecatchers and seasonal colours of Reds and Whites. The Maxi flowered "Hot Summer Swirl" displays the most intense colours for a real Mardi Gras experience. Barbecue On Fire Mix, featuring our flamy Fireballs and complementary colours will also be a great hit during Halloween! The "Cupid Mix" with soft tones in pink red and white with fresh green centers offers solutions for Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.

FlowerTrials 2012
The first opportunity to see all of our assortment simultaniously in bloom is during the FlowerTrials in the Netherlands. These trials take place from 12 to 15 June 2012. You are most welcome to visit our company in De Kwakel, to discover all aspects of our business and meet our technical staff and area managers of all continents. During the Flower Trials we will launch our wide range of Sundayz®, the new outdoor Gerbera from seed, featuring 7 stunning colours and a well-balanced mix. We are also able to show you even more of what is next: our spider Garvinea® range.
